is a sophomore WR/CB that plays locally at Pelion High School in SC. As a sophomore, he caught 34 passes for 457 yards and two touchdowns. As a DB, he also had 31 tackles.

Phillips will be one of the top recruited players in SC for the class of 2015.

TigerNet was able to talk to him earlier in the week and he gave his impressions of his visit to Death Valley for the Clemson-South Carolina game.

Phillips said he had a great time there and "Even though they fell short, I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was insane!"

He was able to meet up with Coach Scott and they talked about his season and that Scott wanted to see his highlight film soon and told him to keep working hard.

Phillips was asked a few words to describe his game and he said, "Dedicated, Hard-working, and Motivated."

He said that he did not have any favorites at this time because of the early stage of his recruiting.

Clemson, South Carolina and North Carolina State have shown a lot of interest but no offers yet.
