Hunter Johnson ranked ESPN's Top QB for 2017

Clemson 2017 quarterback commit Hunter Johnson's ranking has moved up as he is the nation's top 2017 quarterback according to ESPN's latest rankings on Thursday.
Johnson was previously ranked as the nation's fifth-best quarterback and #60 overall prospect in the nation.
Seven Clemson 2017 commits were included in the prestigious ESPN 300 list including WR Tee Higgins (#17 overall), QB Hunter Johnson (#19 overall), WR Amari Rodgers (#103 overall), OG Matt Bockhorst (#164 overall), QB Chase Brice (#209 overall), CB LeAnthony Williams Jr. (#215 overall) and RB Cordarrian Richardson (#227 overall). OG Blake Vinson barely missed being an ESPN 300 recruit but is listed as a 4-star recruit.
DE Logan Rudolph, OT Noah Dehond, and S Baylor Spector are labeled as 3-star 2017 prospects by ESPN.
Clemson was still ranked #12 in the team rankings with their outstanding 11 commits for the 2017 class. The biggest movers in the team rankings were Alabama that moved up two spots to #2 overall with the addition of wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, and the greatest fall was from Rutgers who fell three spots to #24 overall.
