Gino Hayes made his official visit to Tennessee this weekend, where Hayes made a surprise commitment to the Volunteers. So what persuaded Hayes to commit to Tennessee?

"When I first got there, I saw the mountains and that really impressed me. I really got along with the players well. Kevin Simon was my player host. I had been high on Tennessee from the get go."

Hayes had previously scheduled visits with Clemson and Florida State for the 21st and 28th respectively.

"I will still take my official visits. I will be a man of my word."

Hayes had 120 tackles and 12 sacks this season. Despite planning on taking his final two visits, Hayes does consider himself a firm commitment to Tennessee.
