Montario Hardesty - Running Back
Height: 6-0   Weight: 190   Hometown: New Bern, NC (New Bern HS)   Class: 2005
ESPN: NR

Montario Hardesty has now received over 20 offers. He lists his top schools in no order Nebraska, Notre Dame, North Carolina, NC State, Clemson, Virginia Tech, and Tennessee. Hardesty will travel to Nebraska this weekend.

"I haven't decided who will be my official visits. I have no timetable set either for when I'll decide. More new teams are calling, so I am just not sure."

The Tigers are starting to make a stronger push for Hardesty. Hardesty is now climbing up the board along with Mike Davis and James Davis.

"Clemson seems like a real good fit for me at running back. They run a lot of zone plays, and we do that at my high school. Coach Blackwell has been recruiting me. Coach Burns called me last time. He said he was going to start calling me more since he was the running backs coach. I like the atmosphere at Clemson and they are getting better as a team."

So far this season, Hardesty has put up good numbers in a limited role.

"We are 5-0 and ranked number 2 in 4-A. All of our games have been shutouts, so I have only played one full game. I have 700 yards rushing and 120 yards receiving. I will start playing more as we get closer to the playoffs."
