Clemson will look to sign 1-2 running backs in this class. Roddy Jones remains under evaluation, and he had a chance to be on Clemson's campus for the Orange and White game last weekend.

"The trip went well. We had a chance to tour their new facilities. It is going to be really nice, when they get everything finished up. Coach Bowden talked with me for a little bit, and he seems like a coach I could play for."

Maryland, Duke, and Georgia Tech have already offered Jones. Jones said he understands how big of an opportunity it would be to play in the ACC.

"Everyone looks at the ACC for basketball. The ACC is really coming on as a football power. It means a lot to have offers from ACC schools and other ACC schools showing interest. It tells me that I can play with the best of the best."

Did the Tigers offer on Saturday?

"No, Clemson did not offer me. They are going to stay in touch, and we will see what happens."
