ESPN: NR

Corey Moon is not content with being a highly touted defensive end prospect, he wants to be the best. "I want to be a step above the other players being recruited at my position. I feel like I am one of the best at my position, but I want to prove it to everyone."

Moon has currently received offers from Georgia, Auburn, Clemson, Alabama, North Carolina, Tulane, and Virginia. "My top five would be Georgia, Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee, and Virginia."

He was able to camp at Auburn and Georgia. "Auburn was nice, but Georgia was better. They sat me down and told me how they are going to help me my first year. They showed the ways I will benefit in studying and in football. They explained to me how football is rooted into education."

Moon plans to be a business management major, and he has a couple key factors that will sway his decision. "Location and playing time, I want to be close to my Mom so she can see me play. I would like to play my freshman year, but we'll see, but I definitely want to be able to play no later than my sophomore season."

He is looking forward to a big season building on his 140 tackles, 23 tackles for a loss and 10 sacks from a year ago. "We have players ready to step in and fill the holes we have. My coach has talked with me about playing some other positions. I will play wherever I am needed to be."

It is that unselfish nature along with his on-the-field talents that makes him such an attractive prospect.
