4-star 2017 strong-side defensive end Zachary Carter from Tampa, Florida will visit Clemson next weekend.
Carter is a consensus 4-star recruit by all the major recruiting services. He has national offers from Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, FIU, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Middle Tennessee State, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Florida, Temple, Tennessee, Troy, USC,, Virginia Tech and Western Kentucky. Kentucky was the first school to offer. In 2014, he had 73 tackles, 6.5 sacks and four pass deflections. Carter was in attendance for Clemson's 23-13 win over Florida State in Death Valley last season.
