Clemson notified Brad Upson Sunday evening that they would not be offering him a scholarship. When we were made aware that Upson would not be offered, it was indicated that Richard Jackson had committed.
"I have not made a decision yet. I am still deciding between Clemson, LSU, and Georgia. I am going to try my best to reach a decision this week." Jackson's teammate and Clemson commitment Michael Wade is currently on vacation in New York. How has Wade helped Jackson? "We haven't spoke since he left, but he has helped me. He has not pressured me into anything. He understands I will make my own decision." Though Jackson is not listed as a commitment, the staff has to feel very good about their chances to tell Upson they will not be offering. We will follow Jackson very closely throughout this week.
