Height: 5-10   Weight: 205   Hometown: Columbia, SC (Columbia HS)   Class: 2005

The recruiting industry has become much more sensationalized by the advent of the internet. Many players now will name favorites and commit early. Mike Davis, Tiger Source's #1 running back in South Carolina, is taking an old school approach to recruiting.

Davis has yet to take an unofficial visit to any games this season. He remains content with being wide open amongst all his offers.

"I am just now starting to look for where maybe I want to take some visits."

Davis has rushed for 1192 yards so far this season. His team is off to a 5-2 start and in a good position to make a run in the playoffs. Davis may not have the popular approach, but he has been very ethical and has continued to have success on the field.
