Davis Set For First Visit
Mike Davis has been very tight lipped throughout his recruiting process. He has taken his time looking at through several offers, and now he will begin his official visits this weekend.
"I am going to Kentucky this weekend. I am excited about going. This will be my first official visit. I have not set up the others yet, but I will begin doing that after the Shrine Bowl."
It appears Clemson, Auburn, Alabama, and South Carolina will receive the final four visits with Davis. Last week, Coach Brad Scott and Sparky Woods (Alabama) came for in-home visits.
"Both are great coaches and recruiters. Coach Scott just talked to me about the benefits of my scholarship. No coaches that I know of are coming by this week."
Davis will be one of the feature running backs at next week's Shrine Bowl. Davis is extremely honored to be a part of the Shrine Bowl.
"It is a great honor to be playing in the Shrine Bowl because you a play against some great and with great players that you have never have before. It should be really exciting. North Carolina has some good players, but I think we will have something for them."
