ESPN: NR

Columbia High running back Mike Davis maybe the #1 back in the state of South Carolina this season. He has remained very tight lipped so far, but expects by the middle of September the picture will become clearer.

"I will start looking at my options about the middle of September. I wanted to be able to talk to the coaches, and they can call me now. So, I will have a better feel on things shortly."

Davis is right at the top of the Tigers board for a running back. The staff is looking to add at least two more backs in this class.

Davis started his season off on the right foot. He led Columbia to a 33-13 victory over A.C. Flora.
