According to multiple reports, Clemson has backed off the committment from DE

Elijah Daniel One month ago, he claimed his account was hacked when someone tweeted that he had decommitted from Clemson while on a visit to Florida. Daniel will also most likely be headed to prep school one inside source told TigerNet. He'll officially visit Florida when he gets a high enough score on his ACT. Clemson might continue to recruit him if he goes the prep school route. He was rated as the #4 rated DE in that nation by one recruiting service. He was named to the IFCA Class 5A junior All-state team. As a sophomore, he had 55 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and 5 sacks. As a freshman, he had 6 sacks. He has a brother of on the Georgia football team. He committed to Clemson on 6/17/12 after visiting the Dabo Swinney football camp.
