As a junior, McPhearson had four interceptions, 16 pass break ups and ten total touchdowns. He was named All-purpose honorable mention Private school All-State for those efforts.

He has some great highlight film of several tremendous punt and kick off returns.

McPhearson has offers from Boston College, Clemson, Hampton, Iowa and Wake Forest. He is a legacy recruit for Boston College because his father Gerrick McPhearson played there from 1984-1987.

He is also a standout outfielder for his high school baseball team.
