Clemson has offered 2017 4-star athlete Shi Smith from Union, South Carolina on Thursday according to his twitter account.
Smith is one of the top 2017 prospects in the state of South Carolina. The wide receiver/safety prospect has offers from Appalachian State, Clemson, North Carolina, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Towson. His first college offer was from South Carolina and was a Gamecock fan growing up. His high school coach is former South Carolina quarterback Steve Tanneyhill. He had 35 catches for 425 yards and two touchdowns and also had 18 carries for 198 yards and two more scores as a freshman. Smith has previously taken in a football camp at Clemson.
