Hymes is a very long skilled wing player with a nice shooting touch. On the defensive side of the ball, he is a good rebounder and shot blocker.

He averaged 5.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks a game as a freshman.

Some of the schools that have showed early interest in the 2018 prospect include BYU, Boise State, Virginia, St. Mary's and Utah.

His father was Kwame Hymes Sr. who was a standout basketball player at Pepperdine University in the mid 1990's.
