from Knoxville, TN on Monday afternoon according to his twitter account. He will be one of the top 2018 prospects in the state of Tennessee.

TigerNet spoke with Mays right after the offer and he said, "I just feel so blessed to be offered by a program that has the success that Clemson does. Its an unbelievable feeling!"

Coach Brooks gave him the offer and Mays told us that Clemson and Tennessee are his current leaders for his recruitment. The future high-level recruit is a Tennessee legacy because his father and uncle played for the Vols.

Mays has early offers from Clemson, Ohio, and Tennessee. His team finished 10-2 on the season and Mays had an astounding 82 pancake blocks.

He camped at Clemson for the 2014 Dabo Swinney football camp back in June. "It was great (2014 Dabo camp). I was really impressed with the facilities and the experience." Mays said. "I enjoyed getting to know Coach Caldwell and Coach Swinney too." He plans to visit Clemson for a few games next season.

Some of his physical attributes include a 5.35 40 yard dash, 4.80 shuttle, 27 inch vertical, 315 bench press and a 425 pound squat.
