Clemson offered 4-star 2018 wide receiver Jacob Copeland from Pensacola, Florida (Pine Forest HS) recently.

TigerNet spoke with Copeland after he received the offer from Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables.

Venables stopped by Pine Forest high school to hand out the Clemson offer and then observed Copeland at football practice later in the day.

Copeland has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Buffalo, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Memphis, Miami, Michigan, Mississippi, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, Oregon State, South Alabama, Tennessee, UCF and West Virginia.

"It's a great feeling to have all these offers," Copeland said.

The two offers that surprised him the most so far in his recruitment have been Clemson and Florida State.

"Clemson made it to the National Championship and Florida State is just a dream school," Copeland said.

The 4-star playmaker said that Clemson is the first camp that he will be participating in and wants to make a statement to the coaching staff.

"I just want to show them I am explosive, and I am the best receiver that they have ever offered," Copeland said.

He said that his top two schools were currently Clemson and Florida State.
