On Thursday morning, ESPN released its 2018 ESPN 300 rankings which ranks the top 300 overall prospects for the 2018 class. According to ESPN, Clemson has commitments from the No. 1 overall prospect DE Xavier Thomas and the No. 3 overall prospect QB Trevor Lawrence.

Also on the list at No. 34 DE Justin Mascoll, No. 72 WR Derion Kendrick, No. 88 Josh Belk, and No. 197 Mike Jones, Jr.

Clemson's 6 prospects on the list were behind only Miami (11), Penn State (8), LSU (8), Ohio State (7). ACC rival Florida State also had 6 prospects listed. Clemson and Penn State were the only schools to have two prospects in the top 10 with Clemson having two of the top three overall.

Clemson will no doubt be featured prominently on the ESPN300 release show on ESPNU on Thursday at 5PM EST.
