(Pensacola, Fla./Washington) received an offer from Clemson at the end of the weekend, his seventh offer overall.
"It was definitely one of the offers I was waiting for," he said. "Coach [Danny] Pearman from Clemson came into my weightlifting class and talked with me before extending the offer."
The 6-foot, 175-pound prospect currently plays quarterback for his high school but will likely switch to receiver in college. Funderburk accounted for over 2,500 all-purpose yards and 22 touchdowns during his junior season.
