Height: 6-2   Weight: 185   Hometown: Florence, SC (West Florence HS)   Class: 2015

Clemson has received a commitmement from long snapper Austin Spence as a preferred 2015 walk-on according to his twitter account.

Here is his player review from the Chris Rubio Long Snapping Event in Las Vegas.

He is built very long with room to put on some weight. He moves well on his feet and snaps a quick ball. I like to see him widen his stance out a bit to ensure a bit more accuracy. Speed is very good right now and I just want to see him lock down his accuracy by widening out and making sure his weight is back. Would like to see him loosen up his hips a bit to keep his toes pointing forward and not out. This will really help all aspects of his snapping. Locking that down and his spiral will be huge for him. Great attitude and personality. (via chrissailerkicking.com )

He is the brother of Clemson freshman kicker Alex Spence.
