Chris Black is a 5-11, 160 pound wide receiver from Jacksonville, Florida. He finished his junior season with 990 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns.

Over the weekend, he took a visit to the campus of Florida State and checked out their coaches and facilities. He did not commit to them on his visit.

Clemson has already offered Black for next year's recruiting class.

According to Elite Scouting (Black #7 rated prospect in Florida):

"It was last year at this time when the attention began to shift toward Duval County and this play maker. This is a football player who was one of the top players for a program that was loaded with D1 talent a year ago."
