4-star 2017 safety Xavier McKinney from Roswell, Georgia (Roswell HS) will announce his college decision on New Year's Day (Sunday) at the Under Armour All-America game in Orlando, Florida.
McKinney will choose between his three finalists: Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State. He was committed to Alabama at one time but opened his recruitment back up in July. He was selected as the Class 7A Defensive player of the year in 2016 and will enroll early in school. His high school teammate and friend LeAnthony Williams Jr. is 4-star prospect and 2017 Clemson commit. He is also good friends with Clemson linebacker Tre Lamar who was a former high school teammate at Roswell.
