, St. Joe's Senior Quarterback is the most highly recruited player in WNY High School Football history.

Once every decade, and maybe even two, a student-athlete comes along, whose talent is exceptional and becomes one of the top players in the Nation in his/her sport.

That player is Chad Kelly, who will be a Senior QB at St. Joe's and is one of the top Football recruits in the country.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING:

Chad was the first NYS High School QB to throw for 2,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in a season.
His stats for the 2010 season were off the charts, as illustrated by the following:

2010 Season: (11 games) Total of 39 TD's; 24 passing and 15 rushing.

1057 yards: Rushing on 86 carries for 15 TDs, (2) 2 pt. runs (not included in totals).

2159 yards: Passing (137/249) and 24 TDs/8 ints. (1 over last 6 games), 5/8 pm 2 pt. passes (not included).

QB ratings of NFL - 102.8 and NCAA - 153.24
Scored 94 pts. Running (24% of team totals), while throwing for 154 pts. (38%).
His rushing and passing yds. Combines were 3,216 yds. (45% of team's totals).
Added 16 tackles in 1 int. and blocked PAT in only two games played on defense in the playoffs.

As a result of his accomplishments last season, Chad received honors and awards which included the following:

First NYS HS QB to throw for 2,000 yards and rush for 1,000 in a season.
One of 50 recipients for National Old Spice Player of the Year.
One of 10 finalists for 2010 Western NY Connolly Cup, 2nd in voting, 1 of 3 Juniors. (WNY Heisman-like award to top player).
