View Full Profile , a 2013 defensive end prospect out of Shelby (Crest) N.C., visited Clemson this weekend with both of his parents.

Rogers said the visit was a great experience.

"I had a great time," Rogers told TigerNet. "Everything was great, and I like everything I have seen at Clemson. I already liked Death Valley a lot because I have been to games there. We went and toured the dorms and they were nice. Clemson has some great facilities."

He said the highlight of the weekend was Clemson's 71-60 win over Wake Forest in basketball.

"That was the first college basketball game I have ever been to," he said. "It was so intense and it was loud. And those girls (the halftime entertainment) who were jumping rope on their knees - that was incredible."

He said the coaches didn't tell him when an offer would come, but the former teammate of Jonathan Bullard Jonathan Bullard

"I would love to play with Carlos again," he said. "We haven't played with each other since middle school. Clemson didn't really talk in terms of an offer, but they wanted us to just feel at home and feel welcome. Coach Brooks wants me to come back at the beginning of March, and Coach Hobby wants me back in June for their camp because he said he wants to work with me. I am looking forward to that."
