For many prospects, they use this summer for going to camps to get exposure with the major programs.

Josh Briscoe is a highly rated wide receiver prospect, but this summer he didn't go for more exposure rather he went with his heart. "I didn't go to any school camps. I went to a FCA leadership and FCA football camp." FCA stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This was camp that was more about furthering his faith than football. The camp was taught by current college players and coaches. "I went to the FCA camp last year, and I knew then I was coming back this year. It was never a question. Its good to get exposure, but my Mom always told me to give back to the One who has given to me. I just wanted to show appreciation for all the talent God has given me. I look forward to coming back in the future as one of the huddle leaders."

Briscoe's faith will play an important role when it comes time to make a choice between his 14 offers. "I am looking for a good Christian coaching staff. You have to give God the glory for everything you do on and off the field."

Out of Briscoe's 14 offers he has narrowed it down to eight. His final eight are as follows: Virginia, Clemson, Duke, NC State, Georgia, Tennessee, Nebraska, and Kansas State.

Coach O'Cain is recruiting Briscoe for Clemson. "I've talked to him a couple of times, and he sends me a lot of letters. Right now, I am trying not to build to close of a personal relationship with any of the coaches."

Briscoe has been working very hard this summer, and he feels very fortunate for the help he has had this summer. "I've been fortunate to get different teachings from different players who have been on NFL rosters. Scotty Montgomery has worked with me a lot this summer."

Briscoe could be on pace to graduate in December if he chooses to do so, and that could affect the timing of his decision. "If I graduate early, I will announce in late October, early November, so I can enroll in January. If I decide to graduate in May, I will announce probably in February."

We will follow Briscoe very closely this season as he prepares for a big senior campaign. Briscoe is tentatively scheduled to be on the "Overdrive" Tuesday July 27.
