Lamarcus Bond is considered one of the best athletes in the Carolinas this year. Bond has 4.4 speed and good hands. Bond will be playing in the Shrine Bowl in two weeks and is looking forward to the opportunity.

"It is a big honor to be selected. I am looking forward to showcasing what I can do against some of the best."

Bond is being recruited by several ACC and SEC schools. He is looking forward to his official visit to NC State.

"I really like what NC State has to offer. They are recruiting me as an athlete. They say they could use me on offense and defense. I like that a lot. It is possible I could commit on my visit if things go well."

Clemson is in the running for a visit with Bond, and he maintains he would like to visit Clemson.

"Clemson is an up and coming program. They really closed the year strong. Coach Hobby is recruiting me for them, and I really have liked what he has to say. He is very straight up with me. Coach Hobby does not leave any gray area, and thats what I like about him as a recruiter."

We will scout Bond in person at the Shrine Bowl in two weeks.
