Thomas Austin has been a solid commitment to Clemson since the summer. Austin had a strong senior season for Camden.

"We were 8-3. Lost in the first round of the playoffs to Union. Just made some mistakes that cost us the game."

Austin says he is still firmly committed to Clemson and is looking forward to making an official visit with the Tigers.

"I am still firm to Clemson. I brought my family up for the South Carolina game. I told my friends before the game, I thought Clemson would win by three touchdowns. They thought I was crazy, but I was very pleased with the outcome."

Now the focus is on the upcoming Shrine Bowl for Austin.

"I am very excited about the Shrine Bowl. I will be rooming with Barry Humphries. Barry is playing for the state title this week against Dillon. I fully expect them to win that game. BHP has a very impressive defense."

Austin will be one of many players we spotlight in our Shrine Bowl coverage.
