Elite 2017 defensive end Jarez Parks has Clemson in his top group on Thursday according to his Twitter account.

“Let’s Do It," Parks tweeted. "Very Grateful and Thankful for this opportunity. Love you God!" His top eight schools were Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, LSU, Oklahoma, and USC.

Park has national offers from Alabama, Clemson, Duke, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Samford, South Carolina, Stanford, South Florida, USC, and Western Kentucky.

"I'm another step closer to attending a university of my choice, so yeah it feels good to take this step," Parks said to TCPalm.com. "Once I started visiting the schools and analyzing them and researching them, it wasn't that hard to narrow it down, but it took a while."

"I'm pretty open to these eight schools. At some point, I'll put them in order but I'm not ready to do that yet."

Parks had 68 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and seven sacks last season.

He earned All-Area and second-team All-State honors and has already committed to play in the 2017 Army All-American Bowl.
