From Red and Black newspaper:
“People have talked to him especially in the Big 10, but you know that’s kind of their recruiting tool to get him up there. Big 10 guys are using that as a recruiting tool saying he can do both,” Rozier said. Although Tomlinson is unsure of where he will go to play college football or if he will attempt to continue his wrestling career as well, he knows one thing for certain — wherever he is, his presence will be felt by opposing offenses. “Stopping a lot of runs, sacking the quarterback a lot and causing havoc on the offensive line,” Tomlinson said. He had a great showing at the VTO Sports Elite camp in GA. Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama were some of the schools that he visited during the summer of 2011. As a junior, he had 90 tackles and 8 sacks.
Aside from Georgia, Tomlinson has expressed most interest in Georgia Tech, Alabama, Indiana, Clemson and Florida. Tomlinson, who is also a two time state champion wrestler in the 285-pound weight division, is also considering the possibility of wrestling in college, but Georgia does not offer a wrestling team.
