From the Birmingham News:
Jimbo Fisher and Florida State would like to know. Les Miles wants him in the purple and gold of LSU. Nick Saban would prefer to outfit Winston in Alabama’s crimson and white. Those are the coaches of the three finalists for the 6-foot-4, 208-pound passer who was named a co-MVP of the Elite 11 last month in Malibu, Calif. Winston promises no theatrics today. “I’m just going to pull out a hat and say I’m going here,” he said. “I don’t want to disrespect any program by taking a hat off and throwing it off to the side. To me that’s like throwing away their scholarship offer.” He will make his decision around 2:30EST and will be showed on ESPN's College Football Live Show during their 3:00PM show. UPDATE1: They have moved the announcement to ESPNU at 4:30 EST. UPDATE2: According to multiple reports, Jameis Winston has commmitted to FSU over Alabama and LSU. As a junior, he had over 2300 yards and also rushed for many than 800 yards. He is a 2012 ESPNU 150 Watch List Recruit. He has accepted an invitation to play in the Under Armour All-American Game.
Winston will let everyone in on his college choice during an expected 2:30 p.m. ESPNU broadcast today from a Birmingham television station.
