Ferrell, who visited Clemson for the spring game, has been trending toward Clemson in recent weeks and the Tigers are included in the top seven schools released on Tuesday.

As a junior, Ferrell recorded 60 tackles, 26 tackles for loss, and 11.5 sacks. With the loss of senior defensive ends Tavaris Barnes, Corey Crawford and All-American Vic Beasley after this season, a pick up of a player of Ferrell's ability could be big for the Tigers.
