Watson ranked #1 in CBSSports.com's Heisman Watch

CBSSports.com released its latest Heisman Watch list and Clemson sophomore quarterback Deshaun Watson was ranked the #1 player in college football (24 votes) followed by Stanford's Christian McCaffrey (23 votes) and Alabama's Derrick Henry (21 votes).

Deshaun Watson had another impressive performance in leading his #1 ranked team to a 45-37 victory over #10 North Carolina on Saturday night.

Watson threw for 289 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 131 yards and two scores to set ACC Championship records for total yards and touchdowns.

For the season, Watson has 3512 passing yards with 30 passing touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

"Watson finished in first not just because he's having a great season for the No. 1 team in the country, but because he doesn't finish any lower than third on any of our ballots," CBSSports.com said.
