Former Clemson standout K.J. McDaniels had five points, three boards and four blocks in 16 minutes on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets. He now has 8 blocks in his last three preseason games.

Coach Brett Brown recently compared McDaniels to former defensive stalwart Bruce Bowen with McDaniels' defensive play and the ability to make the corner three.
