Former Clemson standout Trevor Booker and Clipper forward Blake Griffin nearly came to blows after a hard foul by Booker on Friday night. After both players exchanged words, Griffin grabbed the back of Booker's head before players restrained both players.

The flagrant foul happened with 2:56 left in the third quarter with Utah leading 66-61. Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and Trevor Booker all received technical fouls on the play. The Clippers ended up winning the preseason game 101-97.
