's Heisman odds has improved even before throwing a single pass in the 2015 regular season for the Tigers.

Watson jumped from 33-1 odds (1/30) to 16-1 odds on Tuesday afternoon (7/7) mostly due to the fact that he appears to be rehabbing well from last year's torn ACL.

In his rookie campaign, Watson completed 67.9% of his passes for 1,466 yards (10.7 per attempt) with 14 touchdowns and only two interceptions for a tremendous quarterback rating of 188.57. He also had five scores rushing. Another superlative is that he had a nation's best 10.7 yards per pass attempt.

Other ACC players included in the Heisman odds include Florida State QB Everett Golson (25-1 odds), Miami QB Brad Kaaya (40-1), Florida State RB Dalvin Cook (40-1), Pittsburgh RB James Conner (40-1), Georgia Tech QB Justin Thomas (40-1), North Carolina State QB Jacoby Brissett (100-1), North Carolina QB Marquise Williams (100-1) and Pittsburgh WR Tyler Boyd (100-1).

13 of the last 15 Heisman Trophy winners have been quarterbacks.
