Former Clemson offensive lineman Eric Mac Lain and defensive lineman Roderick Byers have a tryout with the Carolina Panthers on Friday according to a team release.

The teammates will be one of around thirty-five players that will try to put their best foot forward in order to impress the Panthers coaching staff.

Both players went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft even though Mac Lain was an All-ACC first-team performer last season.

Five players were signed from an invited Panthers tryout last season and the team currently has five open spots on their 90-man roster.
