Travis Blanks injury update

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney talked to the local media on Friday afternoon and gave an update to the condition of safety Travis Blanks.

back this fall at 100% but will still miss all of spring practice.

This is the second consecutive year as he recovers from surgery to repair a torn ACL. He reinjured the knee during one of the final practices in Orlando for the Russell Athletic Bowl game against Oklahoma. Blanks had the surgery on Jan. 16.

In regards to the rest of the DB group, he said they have terrrific looking athletes back there, that can all run.

"Its as good a group as you'll see, Swinney said."
