JAMES MADISON OVERVIEW • James Madison is led by 17th-year Head Coach Spanky McFarland. • The Dukes defeated Maryland 6-3 on the road Tuesday. They are hitting .281 and have a 7.57 ERA and .963 fielding percentage. • Matt Tenaglia is hitting .333 with four homers, 33 RBIs and a .450 on-base percentage. Daniel Gossett • Against Western Carolina on April 23, Erwin struck out 13 in 7.0 innings pitched to earn the win in Clemson’s 11-3 victory. • Against No. 11 Miami (Fla.) on April 26, Gossett struck out 13 and allowed just one run in 9.0 innings pitched. • Before those two outings, the previous time a Tiger struck out 13 in a game was April 3, 2012, when Gossett struck out 13 against Winthrop.
