Three Tigers were named to the 2016 Baseball All-America teams on Tuesday with outfielder Seth Beer (1st team), catcher Chris Okey (2nd team) and pitcher Pat Krall (3rd team).

Beer becomes the first Tiger freshman in history to win first-team All-America honors.

"After graduating from high school a semester early and enrolling at Clemson in January, Beer took college baseball by storm, winning ACC player of the year honors," Baseball America said. "He went on a 26-game hitting streak, the fourth-longest in program history, and went into the NCAA Tournament hitting .372/.532/.686 with 16 home runs."
