Three Tigers listed in NFL.com's Mock Draft

NFL.com draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah has released his first 2016 NFL Mock Draft on Monday morning and three Clemson defenders were listed in the first round.

Defensive back Mackensie Alexander had a projection of #12 to the New Orleans Saints. "Alexander lacks ideal size, but he has outstanding cover skills," Jeremiah said.

Alexander had 23 tackles and two tackles for loss in 2015.

Defensive end Kevin Dodd with his impressive three-sack performance in the National Championship game was predicted to be taken by the Green Bay Packers at pick number #27.

"Dodd is a very skilled edge rusher and he'd fill a need in Green Bay," Jeremiah said.

Dodd had a breakout 2015 season with 62 tackles, 12 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss (second in the nation).

Defensive end Shaq Lawson was projected to the Arizona Cardinals at the #30th selection and the fourth defensive end taken.

"Lawson is a power rusher and he plays with outstanding effort," Jeremiah said.

Lawson led the nation in tackles for loss with 25.5.

Clemson safeties Jayron Kearse and T.J. Green did not make the first round of this NFL mock draft.
