Tajh Boyd reacts to Charleston shooting |
Former Clemson signal-caller
Tajh Boyd
Tajh Boyd Boyd was thinking about all his fans in South Carolina and especially those affected by the Charleston shooting that took nine lives on Wednesday night at the African Methodist Episcopal Church. "My heart is broke for the city," Boyd said to the Patriot-News. "It's unbelievable what the country is going through in general right now. So hopefully things will slow down and people will start to come together as one." "I don't think it's happening right now as far as everybody unifying and things of that nature. We have a lot of examples out there throughout the whole country. We just got to continue to grow as a nation." Boyd canceled his appearance to throw out the first pitch with the Charleston River Dogs on Friday. He encourages people to donate to the relief fund at your local Wells Fargo or to the historic church that was affected in the Charleston shooting. Please donate at your local @WellsFargo or directly at http://t.co/ZmpJZPefgd Thank you for your understanding. pic.twitter.com/xHNmo2jHwy Prayers up for all those lost and affected In the Charleston area May GOD bless you Prayers for the family and friends of the love ones that loss those in the tragic event in charleston. #PrayersForCharleston Words can't explain my disbelief right now and how insane this is!!! #PrayForCharleston https://t.co/ovewnPLaAx
