Former Clemson running back C.J. Spiller has been known to be very charitable with his time at Clemson, Buffalo, New Orleans and in areas near his hometown of Lake Butler, Florida.
Spiller spent a few hours over the weekend mentoring inmates at the Bradford County jail in Florida. Bradford County is the home of the Florida State prison as well as several other state correctional facilities.
He was in town for a community flag football game at the Starke Church of God and visited the jail afterwards.
Spiller had 36 rushes for 112 yards, 34 catches (on 44 targets) for 239 yards, and two receiving touchdowns this past season.
