Watkins was not sure whether he will be available this weekend or not.
“I don’t know. They didn’t really update me or tell me what’s going on. For me it’s just sit back and let them do their jobs,” Watkins said, via Mike Rodak of ESPN.com. “That’s the coach’s decision about whether I should play. It’s a long season so I’m really clueless right now. I don’t know.”
He is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's home game against Kansas City. If Watkins can not go, Robert Woods and Chris Hogan would be the Bills' starters at wide receiver.
Sunday Update: Sammy Watkins is officially active for today's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
For the season, Watkins has 38 catches for 590 yards and five touchdowns. The franchise wide receiver has already won the prestigious NFL Rookie of the Week honors for Week 2, Week 7 and Week 8.
