The 2014 Russell Athletic Bowl features Clemson and Oklahoma which is ranked #9 out of 39 bowls by USA Today. It will be played on Dec 29. at 5:30 PM EST. Vegas currently has the Tigers as a 3.5 point underdog to the Sooners.

Heading into the bowl season, Clemson is ranked #17th in the college football poll while Oklahoma is un-ranked after a heartbreaking 38-35 overtime-loss to their rival Oklahoma State.

In an otherwise forgettable season, the emergence of Samaje Perine stands out. The true freshman set the single-game rushing record and topped 200 yards three times.
