According to the Clarion Ledger:

"And even how Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis has helped shape his life. Maye said he was introduced to Lewis, who he calls his "mentor," by the NFL star's nephew, incoming Clemson freshman Grady Jarrett."

"One thing he's learned? "If things don't fall in place for me, I get back up swinging again," Maye said.

"It's been an honor to be at Clemson, first off. I learned a whole lot of things there and now I'm going to move on to Mississippi State and it's going to be great."
