Mackensie Alexander injury update

Clemson standout defensive back Mackensie Alexander was helped off the field after holding his left hamstring and appeared to be in a great deal of pain.

He is currently being stretched out on the sidelines and receiving ice on his left hamstring on the training table.

Alexander came into the game with a previous right hamstring injury and was a game-time decision.

Clemson defensive back Adrian Baker is in for Alexander.

Update #1: Mackensie Alexander was helped by two trainers gingerly to the locker room with less than a minute to go in the half.

Update #2: Mackensie Alexander has been ruled out for the rest of the game with a left hamstring injury.
