Latest Heisman Odds for Deshaun Watson

The latest 2016 Heisman Trophy odds were released on Monday and it had Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson as the leading candidate with 5-1 odds on winning the prestigious award.

Watson completed 333 of 491 passes for 4,104 yards and 35 touchdowns and also had 207 rushes for 1105 yards and 12 scores this past season. His 5,209 yards of total offense and his 47 total touchdowns were ACC records, and his rushing total was a record for a Clemson quarterback.

His 487 yards of total offense set a record for a National Championship game, and he is the first quarterback in FBS history to have at least 4,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in a single season.

Here are the odds for the rest of the top candidates according to Westgate Las Vegas with RB Leonard Fournette at 6-1, RB Christian McCaffrey at 7-1, QB Baker Mayfield at 10-1, RB Dalvin Cook at 10-1, QB Seth Russell at 12-1, QB J.T. Barrett at 12-1, RB Nick Chubb at 12-1, QB Josh Rosen at 15-1, RB Bo Scarborough 20-1, RB Royce Freeman at 20-1 and RB Samaje Perine at 20-1.
