made his first start in the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night in a 123-70 loss.

McDaniels took the place of Nerlens Noel who missed the game with a left ankle sprain. McDaniels played 25 minutes (3rd most on team) and had 8 points, 3 rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal.

The huge margin was the most lopsided loss since a 56-point 76ers' loss in 1993. Philadelphia is the only NBA team without a victory on the season (0-8).
