is battling some stiff competition during training camp to keep his Tennessee Titans' roster spot.

The wide receiver position is crowded with Kendall Wright, Justin Hunter, Harry Douglas, Hakeem Nicks, Dorian Green-Beckman, Tre McBride and others.

“It is definitely one of the most talented groups I have been around," Ford via the Titans' official website. "We have a lot of veterans and a lot of guys who have great talent, and to come in here and be a part of this group is a blessing. We all work hard, and it is a friendly competition here."

Ford is happy to have another shot in the NFL this season.

"Being out last year, I definitely have a chip on my shoulder, regardless of who came in after me," Ford said. "I am just thankful to have another opportunity in the NFL, just to get back out there. I am going to do everything I can to not let this opportunity slip past me and try and go out there and help this team the best I can."

"I’m just going to keep working hard and try and be consistent," Ford said. "I’m going to give it everything I’ve got."

Ford was cut by the Jets in their training camp in 2014 and did not play in the NFL last season. In 2013, he had 13 catches for 99 yards in 14 games last season. He spent most of that season recovering from Lisfranc surgery. For his NFL career, he has 57 receptions for 848 yards and three receiving touchdowns and also has four kickoff return touchdowns.

At Clemson, Ford and C.J. Spiller became the greatest all-purpose duo in NCAA history. Ford was also the 60 meter indoor NCAA Championship in track during his college days.

Ford was drafted by the Raiders in the 4th round of the 2010 NFL draft (108th overall).
