View Full Profile (Alpharetta, GA) both suffered injuries in the Tigers’ 6-5 loss in 13 innings at Georgia Tech on April 27. Brady, a junior, suffered a hamstring strain while covering first base in the sixth inning, while Campbell, a sophomore, suffered a Latissimus Dorsi (“Lat”) strain in the ninth inning. Brady will be out of action for at least 2-4 weeks, while Campbell will be out of action indefinitely.

Brady, who has been Clemson’s Friday starter all season, is 1-2 with a 2.64 ERA and .227 opponents’ batting average in a team-high 58.0 innings pitched over 11 starts in 2012. He is also tied for the team lead in strikeouts with 55 against 22 walks.

Campbell, one of the team’s top relievers, is 1-2 with a team-tying-high two saves, a 2.49 ERA, and team-best .211 opponents’ batting average in 2012. In 25.1 innings pitched over 13 relief appearances, he has given up just 19 hits, including only four extra-base hits, and 11 walks with 29 strikeouts.
